Working with me
I specialize in psychotherapy with individuals with a wide variety of mental health issues including anxiety and depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and those experiencing any type of emotional hindrance to the pursuit of happiness and success. I believe in tailoring treatment to the individual and balancing the art of therapy with neuroscience. It utilizes a compassion-based, person-centered approach, while introducing cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.) to teach skills for living a happier life and encourage forward movement and scalable, manageable changes as deemed by the individual. My prior work at a Community Mental Health center spanning four states afforded me the opportunity to work with a wide range of ages and diagnoses.
I’m passionate about helping individuals live their fullest life possible and uncovering any barriers that are hindering them from this pursuit. My corporate background lends a unique perspective to the stresses brought by balancing work, relationships, and caring for ourselves. I approach therapy by meeting my clients where they are and allowing our discussions around change to prompt new ways of thinking and shifts in behavior. My goal is to help clients work toward the life they want, cope with uncertainty, handle difficult emotions, develop skills to manage day-to-day life more effectively, and most importantly: find happiness.
